I've started reading ZDNet (partly because Paul Thurrott has been getting on my nerves lately). Found this article today: this basically sums up why I've never actually joined Twitter, and I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Meanwhile, I joined it for the express purpose of responding to somebody (Sean Hannifin)'s twitterspew, because sometimes his posts are interesting enough to warrant comment. And sadly, usually more than 140 characters of it.
That first one was insanely funny. The second one was also good, although I was disappointed to find that Demitri Martin's Twitter page no longer exists. Shaq's, on the other hand, might just have made up for it.
